How To Delete Twitter Account

To delete your Twitter account permanently, you must first deactivate it. Once your account is deactivated, you have 30 days to change your mind and reactivate it. After 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted.

To deactivate your Twitter account:

1. Go to Twitter and log in to your account.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select Settings and privacy.
3. Click on Account.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Deactivate your account.
5. Read the information carefully and then click Deactivate.
6. Enter your Twitter password and click Deactivate again.

Please note: If you have any third-party apps connected to your Twitter account, you will need to disconnect them before you deactivate your account. Otherwise, they may be able to reactivate your account when you sign in to them.

To disconnect third-party apps from your Twitter account:

1. Go to Twitter and log in to your account.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select Settings and privacy.
3. Click on Security and account access.
4. Click on Apps and sessions.
5. Click on Connected apps.
6. Click on the app you want to disconnect and then click Revoke app permissions.

Once you have disconnected all third-party apps from your Twitter account, you can deactivate your account. After 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted.
